Delete Your Account

You can delete your Albatross LifeOS account and all the data stored with it at any time. This page explains how, what is deleted, and what is kept.
Delete it from the app
- Open Albatross LifeOS and tap the Albatross logo at the bottom right to open the menu.
- Tap Account Settings.
- Tap Delete Account and confirm.
Your account is flagged for deletion straight away. Deletion cannot be undone.
If you can't get into the app
Email hello@albatrosslifeos.com from the email address on your account, with the subject "Delete my account". We will confirm by reply and delete your account and its data within 30 days.
What is deleted
Everything stored on our servers for your account is permanently erased within 30 days, including:
- Your sign-in details and profile (email address, first name, Flight Attendant name)
- Journal entries, daily check-ins, Life Wheel scores, habits, goals and reflection answers
- Planner events, to-dos and reminders you created in Albatross
- Meeting notes, voice recordings and time capsules
- Your Flight Attendant's memory summaries and the settings and routines saved to your account
- What Flight Plan has learned about how you plan
Data kept only on your own phone or tablet is cleared when you delete the account in the app, or when you remove the app.
What is kept
- Anonymous usage counts that cannot be linked back to you.
- Records held by other companies. Your subscription and payment records are kept by Google Play or Apple, and your plan status by our subscription provider, under their own policies. Deleting your account does not cancel a subscription. Cancel it in Google Play (Payments & subscriptions) or in your Apple ID settings.
Delete only some of your data
You can also keep your account and remove just some things. In the app, open the menu, then What your Flight Attendant knows, to see, correct or delete what it remembers. You can delete individual journal entries, goals and recordings where you made them. Or email hello@albatrosslifeos.com and tell us what you would like removed.
